Almost all of the postcards are images from collages made in a 4" x 5" format .The use of recycled palette paper pages and torn up watercolors, and other detritus from around the studio was part of the project .The subject of the coastlines came from navigating the Narragansett Sound en route and around Block Island. Also exploration of the Hudson River as seen from its banks, on shore, particularly looking at the Bear Mountain Bridge and Storm King Mountain.
